Screen-capture video describing the steps in Photoshop necessary to remove unwanted background color.

Context

• Screen-capture video created to respond to a user problem on a remote campus.
   
• Posted to web as part of an online lesson center.

Conditions 

• Needed quick solution at our remote campus. Initially saved video to a network drive for remote retrieval; then posted it to Intranet.
   
• Turnaround time for problem-solving is less than traveling to the remote location.

Scope 

• An online lesson center has been created to provide initial training, training reinforcement, and solutions to frequently encountered problems.
   
• While there are often several different approaches that would solve a problem, by selecting and posting one, greater conformity in training can be achieved.
   
• It is intended that this solution will be available to others within the school on a need to know basis.
   
• Lack of a streaming server makes video downloads difficult to implement.
